Copper is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, but is attacked by oxidizing agents such as Nitric Acid, Ferric Chloride, Cyanides, and Ammonia Acids compounds. Because Copper Woven Wire Mesh has excellent electrical conductivity and is non-magnetic, it is often used as RFI shielding. Other popular applications for Copper Wire Mesh are roof debris protectors (i.e., roof drainage systems, gutter screening) and specific filtration. The chemical composition of Copper Woven Wire Mesh is 99.9% copper, and, resultantly, it is a soft and malleable material. Copper Woven Wire Mesh is available in various mesh counts to produce specific opening sizes to meet our industrial users' requirements.

Copper offers excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. It is non-magnetic, anti-sparking and is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, salt air and brine.Due to the excellent conductive properties of copper, Radio Frequency Interference Shielding,Grounding Grids and Lighting Arrestor Elements commonly incorporate copper wire cloth.Copper wire cloth applications may be limiteddue to its low tensile strength, poor resistance to abrasion and common acids.
